Our story starts in 1975 when Ben Lapp started selling homemade ice cream from the family farm. He had been making ice cream for tourists attending church services at local campgrounds, and the demand for his ice cream was growing.
As the retail side grew, Ben involved his family in helping grow the farm and production. It culminated in 2002 with the opening of a large retail facility on the farm.
In 2022, the Creamery & Cafe opened along PA Route 340, allowing Lapp Valley to serve more people with expanded room. It also allowed the serving of hot food, more coffee drinks, and other local Lancaster County goods.
We would love to serve you, your family, and your friends with our delicious ice cream and hot food. Stop by today or plan your next visit!
